Very nice theme ! But I seem to have a conflict between one of my plugin and your theme : like Paolo, the animation of links in the sidebar don’t work.
Would it be possible for your to explain in a few words what are the functions / scripts involved in the animation ? Maybe I can have a look at it and make it work.
And if you don’t have time, no problem, your theme is still amazing !!

@citron
the problem is with jQuery clashing with prototype,
the solution is to load jquery in “no conflict” mode by calling jQuery.noConflict(); at the begining of th js code then using jQuery with “jQuery” instead of the default “$” …
I will roll out an update to this theme by 2moro, fixing this issue and including some new features…

Very nice theme. I am doing a complete overhaul of my IM business — including a change of domain name, so yeah, it’s drastic — and went carefully through all 39 pages of themes on the WP site. In the end, yours has just the look and feel and functions that fit what I’m trying to do.
I won’t be “going public” with the new theme until the switch-over is complete, but I’ll be tinkering with your theme for a while and checking back with you for updates.
Thanks and regards,
Jaye

Hi again ! Thanks for the answer Mujtaba, I’ve fixed the javascript (I was a bit lost as their is many .js files with your theme :p) and it works perfectly with the other plugins !
And by the way, can’t wait to test your new theme. I’m curious as to what those “new features” will be

This is a lovely looking theme. I am a newbie to this entire world of wordpress. I downloaded the theme and would like to upload images in the same way that you have it in the sample. Can you advise me on how to do this?
Thanks

Thanks for the update. In your layout, your images are the same size. Would you suggest that I make all of my images the same pixel size.
I have been successful uploading images, but I can’t seem to create the space between the images. Can you help me with this?
Thanks
Siri

Hi Guru-
Love Tranquility, but wondering how one goes about selecting _which_ pages might show up in the top links. I’m helping a friend set up a site, and he has a lot of pagesthat fall under a couple of categories. Ideally I’d like just the pages that do not have a parent to appear in the top navigation – suggestions?
Cheers,
Chris

Hi Chris…
i visited your blog @ edwardpjoseph.com ,
seems like you are new to the world of blogging and esp wordpress, u see , the articles you have posted must have been in the “posts” section instead of pages,
Pages may be permanent sections of your site like “bio” “contact” etc… while all your writing and articles can go in posts…

Hi
I finally figured it out!! Beginning something new is always a challenge, but I’m getting there.
O.k. here is another question. There are several websites that I’ve seen with images where if you double click on the image, it will open up a separate window in the center of the window (first vertically then horizontally) to show you a larger version of that image.
example below:
http://www.watkins.edu/galleries/Faculty/Fine+Arts
Once you are there, click on any of the small images.
Is there a way to implement this within Tranquility theme?
Thanks
Siri

hi!
many thanks for a great theme. i really am loving it to bits.
i’m pushing and shoving various areas around to suit my needs, and at the minute i’m trying to move everything up….if you look on my site you’ll see the grand canyon of gaps at the top!
i’ve spent over an hour trying to figure out what controls this within stylesheet (and i’ve wizzed through the other pages).
my head is currently meeting the brick wall! lol. could be i’ve just done a 12 hour shift and i’m being blind? but i would appreciate it if you could go someway to putting me out of my misery! lol.
cheers

Hey MujTaba, This theme is fantastic and I’m actually using it to help teach myself Wordpress, PHP and all the other things necessary to start creating my own themes. Like a couple other people here I’m having trouble getting my animated links in the sidebar to work again. The above “solution”, unfortunately is like speaking another language right now.
Could you maybe help myself and possibly some other newbies where to find this code and update it. You also mentioned that you were working on an update? Did you already do this?
Lastly, and again, I love the theme and appreciate all the info you give to us users, but how can I change the title color to my posts and the headers for the sidebar? Right now they are a light blue color and I’d love to change that Crimson. I’ve poored over the CSS and was able to change almost everything else to my liking, but I just can’t seem to locate this piece of CSS.

Thanks!

hi Dave,
glad to hear u liked my theme
unfortunately i havent fixed the issue yet, shame on me, i just couldnt get time and when i had time it completely slipped out of my mind…
I am talkin bout the javascript file js.js , u can find it in the ‘js’ folder,
regarding the header colors, it is actually a gradient set using javascript and cufon, u can find its code in the ‘header.php’ file between the head tags…
Look for a line with something like -lineargradient( ) and change the hex value in it to the hex value of color of ur choice,
actually i am currently browsing via my cell so i cannot explain in complete detail, with copy pasted codes examples and all, i will TRY to fix this issue ASAP …
thnx for using my theme

MujTaba,
Thanks for helping me with the colors, it was driving me crazy! lol
I found out that the NextGEN photo gallery was causing the problem. I changed to a different photo gallery plugin and it started working great again. So it’s all good…
But if you get that fixed, I’d love to know so I can use the NextGEN gallery again.
Thanks

Hi Mujtaba,
How do I change the color of the title text for each blog post and sidebar item? Right now it is a sky blue, and I would like to make it a dark blue. I noticed that I can change the hover color from #09f to another color, but I wasn’t sure where to set the color of the title text.
Thank you!
Susie
