  • Hey!
Thanks for this great Theme! I installed it and it works great!
Except for the German Umlauts! In the titles they are not schown, but in the text they. So i guess this has something to do with the title-font. But how can i change this font?

  • Actually, i got another question.
Is it possible, and if, how?, to show on the Homepage and the archives the leading text (till the more-tag) the pictures and the links that are set in the article?

    Thanks,
    Flo

  • Hi!

Love your theme too! But I have the same problem as Flo but with accents (I write in Spanish). Only in the header and post titles. Has something to do with cufon??

    Thank you!

    Sorry for the late reply…!

The title-font uses a text-image replacement solution powered by java script (Cufon) , currently only Latin characters are supported
to display German Umlauts as well, open header.php bundled with the theme and search for and remove the following lines :
    Cufon.replace('h1', {
    color: '-linear-gradient(#777,0.55=#444,0.55=#000, #222)'
    });

What u actually mean is “is it possible to show html in excerpts” …
No it isnt possible… cause wordpress strips off all html tags from excerpts on homepages and archive pages,
but there is a solution… while making a new post, enter the html into the “Post Excerpt” field and they will not be stripped off automatically…

    Thans for using my theme…!

Yup Cufon speaks only English! (not cufon actually, my font)

follow the same procedure as above

  • I absolutely love this WP theme, but is there any way to show the photos embedded in a post without having to look at the post specifically? I guess what I’m asking is how to get rid of the ‘READ MORE’ icon and simply put all the verbiage and photos right up front.

  • @ Walter Davis
By default WordPress ( when using my theme) displays an excerpt of the post on the home and archive pages, followed by a “Read More” link to the complete story, when doing so, it displays the post content with upto 70 characters with all html tags stripped off, thus resulting in images not showing up in excerpts,
The work around is entering your html code containing the img tag in ” the excerpt ” field while making a post…

  • Thank you Mujtaba, again a very nice theme from you, I’m also using The Last Fall

@ Daniel & Flo: You can generate a new font file (TitilliumText14L_300.font.js) on the following page http://cufon.shoqolate.com/generate/ including special characters by using the font TitilliumText250wt.otf found on http://www.campivisivi.net/titillium/?page_id=2

  • Hi guys,

This theme is simply beautiful. Thanks for that!

Question: I’ve installed the template here: http://cafebabelprova.netsons.org/rent/
Is it possible to get a customised menu?

I mean: can I remove the “Archive”, “Categories”, “Blogroll” and “Meta” options and put my own menu, such as “Pictures”, “Prices”, “Calendar”, “About us” etc.?

Thank you and, again, well done!

  • Hi Mujtaba,

I am using your wonderful theme. But like to customize here and there. I’ve got 2 questions:
    1. Is the theme still downloadable form withing wordpress? Couldn’t find it anymore.
    2. Does the text widget work with this theme?

I’ve tried to inser an image with:

    in the text image area.

    No result whatsoever.
It seems like a justief html command and the widget according to wordpress should
    be able to accept HTML.

Btw. My blog’s design is a mess. No worries, Just for testing

    Thanks in advance
    Frank
